New York Avenue Streetscape and Trail Project

New York Avenue Streetscape and Trail Project

New York Avenue NE is a major transportation route, a neighborhood and an important industrial and commercial hub in DC. As new developments are emerging onto New York Avenue, DDOT is working to create a cohesive corridor streetscape and trail for all users of New York Avenue NE. This project will identify improvements that include sidewalks, streetlights, plantings, trees, benches, public art and other public space improvements.
